Worldwide Aircraft Services has secured the sale of two (2) ERJ 145 Folding Stair kits. First offered earlier this year, this innovative folding stair solution is used to modify certain ERJ 135/145 aircraft that do not have an air stair as part of the original design. The customer, a charter operator based in Mali Western Africa, operates a fleet of B1900’s and ERJ -145’s.

The Folding Stair kits allow the operator to install locally without having to absorb the costs and out of revenue service time that would otherwise have been incurred by repositioning the aircraft. By removing the need for extra ground support during passenger loading and unloading, this modification enhances operators’ operational flexibility and offers a low-maintenance modification that is easy to implement. We are pleased to provide two of these kits to the customer, and we look forward to continuing our support as they integrate these enhancements into their fleet.
