Worldwide Aircraft Services Earns FAA Approval for Satellite Repair Station, Expanding Heavy Maintenance Capabilities
Worldwide Aircraft Services, Inc. has announced a significant milestone in its ongoing growth strategy: the receipt of FAA approval for a new Satellite Repair Station, utilizing Castle Aviation’s facility at Akron-Canton Airport (KCAK).
The certification allows WASI to extend its repair station authority to a secondary site while maintaining managerial control from its primary headquarters in Springfield, Missouri. The approval enables WASI technicians and inspectors to perform nose-to-tail heavy maintenance checks, encompassing full structural, systems, and airworthiness inspections, at the Castle Aviation facility.
The move positions WASI to capture additional heavy maintenance business at a time when maintenance capacity constraints are becoming increasingly prevalent in the aviation industry. By expanding its operational footprint, WASI is poised to better serve its growing client base and meet the rising demand for comprehensive aircraft maintenance services.
We are excited about the opportunities this certification brings as WASI continues to expand its reach and capabilities.
