Worldwide Aircraft Services Secures Contract with Brazilian Air Force for Garmin Avionics Upgrade on EMB-120 Fleet

Worldwide Aircraft Services Inc. (WASI) is proud to announce the successful acquisition of a major contract with the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) to upgrade the avionics suite on its fleet of 13 EMB-120 aircraft. Under the terms of the agreement, WASI will assist in the retrofit these aircraft with the latest Garmin avionics package, significantly enhancing operational efficiency, safety, and navigation capabilities.

The Garmin avionics suite includes cutting-edge navigation, communication, and surveillance technologies that are designed to improve pilot situational awareness and streamline mission-critical operations. The upgrade is part of the Brazilian Air Force’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of aviation safety and performance.

The installation and integration process are expected to be initiated in the 2nd quarter of 2025 with all 13 aircraft fully upgraded and operational with 60 months of the start date.
